Roles and responsibility for
Geotechnical Engineer for Saudi Arabia:
- Planning, execution, interaction with clients & preparation of geotechnical reports
- Execution and monitoring all the investigation activities, client interaction and preparation of geotechnical reports.Interaction with the structural design engineers involved in design of water, sewage and storm water systems.
- Identification of sites jointly for location and construction of ground and elevated water reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plants etc.
- Strategic planning of location and termination depth of boreholes, test pits, electrical resistivity tests & other required insitu tests to be conducted.
- Framing the Technical Specifications for carrying out the Geotechnical Investigations.
- Monitoring the field investigations and laboratory testing. Preparation of Geotechnical reports & recommendation of safe bearing capacity & type of foundations.
Requirements for
Geotechnical Engineer for Saudi Arabia:
Geotechnical Engineers with MS degree in Geotechnical engineering and having an experience of minimum 4 years and graduated from a good and known university.
Education: BE in Civil + ME in Geo technical Engg
